Enrolments

Koondoola Primary School is a local intake school. Children living within our defined boundaries will be accepted. Consideration will be given to those who are not within our catchment area. To see if you reside in our catchment area, view a copy of our boundary map.

If you wish for your child to attend Koondoola Primary School, you will need to collect an application for enrolment form and return it to the front office together with your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records (AIR Statement) and proof of address. Visa information will also be required if relevant.

International Students

Intensive English Program

Students wishing to enrol in our Intensive English Program require a referral from their current local primary school. Eligibility for Enrolment is determined by many factors including your address, citizenship, visa, and our classroom capacity.

Intensive English Centre Boundary Map – Please note: To find out if your address is in our area, please click on the ‘Local Intake Area Map‘ link and type your address in the red search bar.  If your address is in the yellow area, you are in our intake area.  If your address is in the purple area, you are able to choose between North Perth Primary School and Highgate Primary School.  If you reside outside of this area, we are unable to enrol your child in our school.

To request a place for your child in a Western Australian public primary or secondary school, you should contact the international office of your university who will provide you with a Student Placement request form and online application link to complete:

Once you have received the Placement request form and Application link, complete Section A of the Public school placement form and approach schools near your home address to arrange a suitable placement in a school.

TIWA will invoice you for any additional costs for support services and set up a payment plan with you, if required. For placement in an intensive English centre (IEC) the cost is $3,000 per year.
When you receive an email from TIWA with the ‘Authority to enrol’, you can contact us to book an enrolment interview.
Please note: your child is not permitted to enrol at a school until the Authority to Enrol – Confirmation of School Placement (CoSP) Letter has been issued. Once you receive the CoSp, please forward it in an email.
